On December 8, 1963, the Black Hawks played an exhibition game against the team which would represent the United States during the 1964 Winter Olympics. Waterloo won the game, 6-5. That game represents just one of many ties between the Black Hawks and the U.S. Olympic Team, including several players who have been part of both squads.
