If a stick breaks at a hockey rink in front of 3,000 people, does Waterloo get a new tree?
This may never have been one of those imponderable questions, but the answer is now, definitely "YES," thanks to Meyers Nursery.
This year, the Black Hawks are keeping a tally of those broken sticks. While a player is getting his new 'twig' from the bench, Waterloo will be getting a new tree donated by Meyers Nursery. Those trees will be planted during the spring of 2027.
Meyers Nursery has been improving the landscape in the Cedar Valley since 1923. They offer hybrid trees, shrubs, evergreens, perennials, and annual bedding plants. Meyers Nursery also provides landscape design services.
