Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.  

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Hayden Russell
Russell was one of two Black Hawks with multiple points last week.  He recorded an assist on Friday's goal which put Waterloo ahead for good, then later scored an important insurance goal in the third period.  Both of Russell's points were produced in power play situations.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Dylan Nolan
On Friday against the Youngstown Phantoms, Nolan scored the opening goal and sent the Hawks on the way to their first win of the season.  Overall, he was +3 during the USHL Fall Classic, tying him for sixth league-wide in plus/minus.  Nolan also put a team-high seven shots on net.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
