The Hawks Are Hiring

Seeking Energetic Game Night Staff

Without ever scoring a goal or making a big save, anyone can be part of the Waterloo Black Hawks' team this hockey season with a parttime position on game nights at Young Arena.

Game night staff help create the energy and excitement that makes Black Hawks games special.  The Black Hawks are currently seeking:

Ticket Scanners: greet fans when they arrive, digitally scan tickets at entry points, and assist with questions about seating, promotions, and more.
Game Operations Interns: play a pivotal role in executing all game night operations, including set up, in-game contests/activities, and operate fan services locations.
Party Town Outfitters Retail Sales Associates: create a welcoming, engaging shopping experience for fans on game nights, while delivering exceptional service and keeping the team store organized.

Blue Line Moving & Storage

"Anyone who enjoys coming to Black Hawks games knows that our game night staff contribute to the experience," said Team President Joe Greene.  "We look forward to welcoming some new staff during the coming season, and I encourage anyone interested in applying to visit waterlooblackhawks.com/jobops."

Most game night staff members work 5-10 hours per week, depending on the Black Hawks' home schedule.  Hirees are expected to attend every home game throughout the season. Applicants are asked to confirm they don't have any major scheduling conflicts before submitting their information.

More details about available opportunities and a link to the Black Hawks' home schedule can be found at waterlooblackhawks.com/jobops.  Waterloo's first home game is Friday, October 2nd against the Dubuque Fighting Saints at 6:35 p.m.  All home games are played at Young Arena.
