Red and black goes together with purple and gold on Friday, March 27th during the Waterloo Black Hawks' annual UNI Panther Pride Night, presented by Iowa Chill.
All UNI students, staff, faculty, and alumni are invited to order $10 tickets so they cheer on the Hawks at Young Arena. Waterloo meets the Omaha Lancers, with the opening faceoff at 6:35. Doors open at 5:35.
For fans aged 21 and over, Party Town American Lager from SingleSpeed Brewing is just $5 while supplies last. The Hawks will also introduce Yuengling Lager at the same $5 price all game long.
March 27th is pop star Lady Gaga's birthday. The Hawks will celebrate by reliving the first decade of the 21st century with 2000s music throughout the game.
Our friends from Iowa Chill will be at the rink. Iowa Chill offers a wide range of Iowa-themed apparel and gear from their website,
iowachill.com, while also providing humorous and insightful commentary on their various social media platforms. Check them out through your preferred social media outlet, and you might see yourself in photos or videos created during the game.
The matchup with Omaha is also this season's
final McDonald's Madness game.
After the final whistle, stick around to bid on your favorite Waterloo player's black jersey. The sweaters will be sold during a postgame live auction. Sign up for a bid number during the game at the Rydell Auto Fan Services table.
