Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.
Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Salvatore Viviano
With two goals on Friday against Des Moines and another on Saturday in Sioux City, Viviano boosted his total for 2025/26 up to 15. That included Friday's game-winner. Viviano has scored four decisive goals this season. He ranks second on the team in goals and points (38).
The weekly offensive honor is presented by Christie Door Company. UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Nash Roed
The affiliate forward had assists on both Friday and Saturday night. Roed set up a pair of goals by Salvatore Viviano. The 16-year-old was also +2, tying for the best plus/minus figure among any Black Hawk during the weekend. Roed now has two points in his first four USHL appearances.
Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838. The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America. Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
