Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.  

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Cody Sokol
Playing three games during the busy weekend, Sokol notched at least one point each night, highlighted by a three point effort against Sioux City Friday and an assist on the overtime winner versus Dubuque Saturday.  It all added up to two goals and four assists with a +2 plus/minus rating.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Caleb Deanovich
Waterloo's leading defensive scorer rang up four points (one goal, three assists) last weekend.  He scored the decisive goal against the Fighting Saints less than a minute into overtime Saturday.  Deanovich added two power play assists in the first period, to go along with his first assist of the weekend versus Sioux City Friday.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
