Black Hawks Players of the Week - 10/5

Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Dylan Nolan
The Hawks were soaring after two early goals from Nolan last Friday against the Dubuque Fighting Saints. He recorded the first Waterloo shorthanded goal of the season less than five minutes into the game, then added a power play goal later in the first period.  Nolan now has three goals this season.

The weekly offensive honor is presented by Christie Door Company.  With roots in the Cedar Valley which stretch back into the 1950s, Christie Door Company offers the largest selection of quality door options at prices to meet their customers' budget.  Their motto is: Our Name Stands for Quality, Value is our Tradition!

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Colin Dustin
Dustin was on the ice for four of six Waterloo goals against the Fighting Saints.  His power play goal  in the third period proved to be the game-winner.  Dustin led the Hawks with a +3 plus/minus differential, which also moved the Niagara recruit to +3 for the season.  He put four shots on goal, tying for second on the team.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
