The expansion of sports wagering in recent years means even casual fans know a little about over/unders.  But during the Waterloo Black Hawks' first ever Over/Under Night on Friday, January 23rd, it's the thermometer that matters, not the scoreboard.

That night, the Black Hawks host the Tri-City Storm in Young Arena at 6:35.

If the temperature is below 32 degrees at game time, everyone in the building gets a voucher redeemable for a half-price ticket for Saturday's rematch with Tri-City.  If the temperature is above 32, we'll celebrate by reducing Busch Light Tallboys to just $3.20 through the end of the 1st period.

Bet big and bring along the whole office, the family, or the guy down the street who always seems to have a hot tip on the big game.

It's also Country Night with live country music in The Coors Light Cold Zone from Nick Sorensen.  You'll also hear some of your favorite country tunes throughout the night.  And we're nearly halfway to the 2026 Iowa State Fair.  Look for fun commemorations of Iowa's great summertime tradition that will help to beat any January blues.
