Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Travis Lefere
Two of Lefere's three points Saturday came during the explosive conclusion of the second period. He scored the go-ahead goal less than three-and-a-half minutes before intermission, then assisted on Toby Carlson's goal with moments left in the second. Lefere also set up a third period goal by Dylan Nolan.
Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838. The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America. Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Jackson Schneider
Defenseman Jackson Schneider was on the ice for three of the Black Hawks' five goals versus Des Moines. The Buccaneers did not score during any of his shifts. Schneider also picked up his first USHL assist. While the teams were four-on-four, his breakout pass set up a rush leading to Dylan Nolan's goal.
