Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.  

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Ty Mason
Mason continued to add to an impressive goal total during last weekend's games against Fargo.  He scored twice on Friday during a 5-1 win, then produced Waterloo's lone goal Saturday in a 2-1 loss.  Mason is up to 14 goals this season.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Rio Treharne
Last weekend, Treharne had a pair of assists on Friday.  It was his third multipoint game of the season.  He now has one goal and nine assists this year.  Treharne was also +1 during the two games against Fargo and is now +3 overall in 2025/26.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
