Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.  

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Cullen Emery
With several top scorers missing, Emery stepped up with multiple points in all three games last week.  He had two assists both Tuesday and Friday against Dubuque and the NTDP U18s respectively.  Then Saturday, Emery produced a goal and an assist versus the U18s for six total points during the week.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Hayden Russell
During Waterloo's road win against the NTDP U18s on Friday, Russell produced the first goal, then added another which proved to be the game-winner.  Russell also notched a goal Saturday.  The weekend was a bounce back after he was a late scratch Tuesday due to an eye issue.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
