Black Hawks Players of the Week - 2/9

Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Travis Lefere
On Friday night, Lefere took several stitches to his face when he was cut under his right eye.  Undeterred, he came back Saturday and notched the lone Black Hawk goal during Waterloo's second game in Fargo.  Lefere now has seven goals this season.

The weekly offensive honor is presented by Christie Door Company.  With roots in the Cedar Valley which stretch back into the 1950s, Christie Door Company offers the largest selection of quality door options at prices to meet their customers' budget.  Their motto is: Our Name Stands for Quality, Value is our Tradition!

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Caleb Deanovich
During the two-game trip to visit the Force, Deanovich was the lone Waterloo skater with a positive weekend plus/minus differential (+1).  The defenseman also picked up an assist on a Friday goal by Jackson Schneider.  The rookie now has five points in 18 appearances.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
