Black Hawks Players of the Week - 2/23

Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Cullen Emery
On Saturday, Emery produced a USHL career-best game with two goals and two assists.  Adding an assist on Friday, he had a hand in five of six Waterloo goals during the weekend.  Emery's goal with under two minutes remaining Saturday was the timeliest score of the weekend, forcing overtime against Youngstown.

The weekly offensive honor is presented by Christie Door Company.  With roots in the Cedar Valley which stretch back into the 1950s, Christie Door Company offers the largest selection of quality door options at prices to meet their customers' budget.  Their motto is: Our Name Stands for Quality, Value is our Tradition!

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Dylan Nolan
Nolan had not played since Thanksgiving due to an upper body injury.  He returned to action and scored goals in each of his first two games.  That included Waterloo's only goal on Friday, as well as the first goal in Saturday's game.  Nolan put 12 shots on net across the Hawks' three contests.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
