Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.
Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Jakeb Lynch
On Friday, Lynch recorded his second multipoint game of the season. He assisted on a pair of Waterloo goals against the Chicago Steel. Lynch now has nine points as a Black Hawk, with six of them earned in the last 10 games. Lynch was also +2 last weekend.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Travis Lefere
Lefere made the crucial play which led to Waterloo's only goal last Saturday against Cedar Rapids. Forcing a one-on-one turnover deep in the offensive zone, Lefere's shot created a rebound, which Drew Waterfield put in. Lefere now has 13 points this season.
Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838. The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America. Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
