Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.  

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Ty Mason
The veteran forward tied for the team scoring lead last week, producing three points (one goal, two assists) in three appearances.  Mason's stats included scoring the game-winning goal against the Lincoln Stars on Friday.  He was also +1.  Mason is one point away from 30 this year.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Michael Chambre
Chambre helped preserve Friday's road win at Lincoln, coming off the bench for the last 22 minutes and stopping all 14 shots he faced.  The Stars were on a five-minute power play when Chambre entered the contest.  Saturday, he stopped 46 of 49 shots.  His save percentage for the weekend was .952.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
