Black Hawks Players of the Week - 1/26

Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Jakeb Lynch
On Friday against Tri-City, Lynch had his first multipoint game at the USHL level.  He scored Waterloo's first goal, then assisted on a third period score by Travis Lefere.  Lynch was also +1 across the two games and now owns six points for the Hawks this season.

The weekly offensive honor is presented by Christie Door Company.  With roots in the Cedar Valley which stretch back into the 1950s, Christie Door Company offers the largest selection of quality door options at prices to meet their customers' budget.  Their motto is: Our Name Stands for Quality, Value is our Tradition!

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Michael Chambre
Chambre stopped 58 of the 64 shots he faced over the weekend, which computes to a .906 save percentage.  He stopped 10 or more shots on goal in three different periods.  His save percentage for the season is holding at .907.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
