Kaydee Silva has been promoted to Game Presentation Director and Business Operations Associate, the Waterloo Black Hawks announced Friday.
The role will provide new opportunities for Silva to work with Black Hawks fans and corporate partners on non-game nights. She will also broaden her experience to include administrative tasks in the team's Party Town Outfitters store and other operational areas.
"Kaydee started as part of our game night staff and has been very loyal to the Black Hawks organization; we are very proud to offer her this next step in her career and honored that she has accepted," said Team President and Chief Operating Officer Joe Greene. "Fans see our players and coaches prepare for new opportunities and challenges every season, but the Black Hawks development mission is holistic and includes our business staff as well. Kaydee is part of that story."
Silva joined the Black Hawks during the fall of 2021, not long after completing her degree at the University of Northern Iowa. She studied Marketing: Advertising & Digital Media. Following one season working for the team on game nights, Silva was promoted to Director of Game Operations in the fall of 2022. In addition to leading the Hawks' promotional and fan service teams, Silva has made other versatile contributions in areas including social media, graphic design, ticket sales, and more.
The first Black Hawks home game during the 2025/26 schedule will be on Saturday, September 27th when Waterloo hosts the Des Moines Buccaneers at Young Arena. Season tickets for the full slate of home games are on sale now from tickets.waterlooblackhawks.com.
