Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.  

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Ty Mason
As the Hawks returned from the USHL's holiday break, Mason assisted on the game-winning goal Salvatore Viviano scored Saturday against Madison.  Then Sunday, Mason notched his team-leading 16th goal of the season during a Waterloo power play.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Jackson Schneider
Facing the Sioux City Musketeers Sunday, Schneider picked up a power play assist during the second period.  Later in the game, he came to the aid of a teammate who had been checked from behind while penalty killing.  Schneider finished the weekend with a +1 plus/minus differential.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
