Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.  

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Atte Vikla
With just under three minutes remaining on Thanksgiving night, Vikla brought Young Arena to life by precipitating the Teddy Bear Toss.  His late goal gave the Hawks a much-needed holiday highlight.  It was Vikla's second goal of the season.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Trevor O'Donohue
On Sunday, O'Donohue skated for the Hawks in Cedar Rapids after starting this season with the RoughRiders.  During the third period, the forward set up a Black Hawks power play goal by Toby Carlson.  O'Donohue has two assists in four appearances for Waterloo.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
