Black Hawks Players of the Week - 11/10

Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Dylan Nolan
Playing against several of his former Tri-City teammates, Nolan scored in the third period Friday, breaking a 3-3 tie with the eventual game-winner.  He also added an empty net goal during the final minute of regulation.  Saturday he opened the scoring in Waterloo's 6-1 win with a power play goal, bumping his season total up to six goals.

The weekly offensive honor is presented by Christie Door Company.  With roots in the Cedar Valley which stretch back into the 1950s, Christie Door Company offers the largest selection of quality door options at prices to meet their customers' budget.  Their motto is: Our Name Stands for Quality, Value is our Tradition!

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Ryan Whiterabbit
Whiterabbit had his most productive weekend as a Black Hawk. Friday, he bagged a pair of assists and was +4.  Saturday, he assisted on three more goals and scored one of his own during a four-point night.  By finishing at +3, the second-year defenseman was +7 for the weekend.  He ended the two-game trip as one of only eight USHL defensemen with 10 or more points.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
