Black Hawks Players of the Week - 10/13

Each Monday, the Waterloo Black Hawks staff recognizes players as the team's Offensive Player of the Week and the Hardest Worker of the Week.

Christie Door Company Offensive Player of the Week: Viktor Eriksson
Eriksson scored both of Waterloo's power play goals last weekend and finished with a total of three goals during the trip to Green Bay.  That includes Friday's game-winning goal during a 5-4 result.  Eriksson now has a team-leading five goals for the Hawks and is tied for third in the USHL.

The weekly offensive honor is presented by Christie Door Company.  With roots in the Cedar Valley which stretch back into the 1950s, Christie Door Company offers the largest selection of quality door options at prices to meet their customers' budget.  Their motto is: Our Name Stands for Quality, Value is our Tradition!

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker: Rio Treharne
Treharne had his first multipoint game last Friday when he posted two assists.  The goals he set up were crucial to Waterloo's comeback win.  He followed up Saturday by scoring the game's first goal; it was his first in the USHL.  Treharne was also +4 during the two games and now leads Waterloo in plus/minus.

Hardest Worker recognition is presented by UAW Local 838.  The United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) is one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America.  Their message: American jobs are worth fighting for.
